Amy Schumer hosted the 2015 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night with her trademark hilariously inappropriate humor using both monologues and pre-taped bits to keep the audience entertained.

Amy Schumer Hosts The 2015 MTV Movie Awards

Schumer, who currently stars on Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer, opened the show with a montage video, inserting herself into a few of this year’s most popular/most anticipated movies including Boyhood, Divergent, The Hunger Games and Whiplash – it even featured a cameo from Academy Award winner JK Simmons.

“Is anyone else not getting high from these things? Is this a trick or something?” Schumer deadpanned while posing as a cancer patient wearing a nasal cannula in The Fault in Our Stars.

Amy Schumer Monologue Best Jokes

After a failed Hunger Games bit in which Schumer pretended to kill Jimmy Kimmel with a Katniss-like arrow, Schumer launched into her monologue, commenting on famous audience members and popular films:

Kate Mara’s here. Kate, I love you so much, oh my god. She’s going to be starring in Fantastic Four playing the super hero the Invisible Woman, which is the role that I played in all of school.”

Schumer made sure to focus a string of jokes at Comedic Genius Award winner Kevin Hart, first making fun of his small stature. “Kevin, how are you the same height as your kids?”

“Do you know how many movies Kevin [Hart] made this year? Two million. He made two million. Did you see Boyhood? He’s the boy, age 9…He was the fake baby in American Sniper,” Schumer joked.

Schumer didn’t let MTV off the hook, and a few of her best jokes came at the network’s expense:

“The Movie Awards are the only show where the best movies are nominated and voted on by the same people who keep Catfish and Teen Mom on the air. Thank you for that.”

“I don’t want the winners to worry about their speeches going too long, because MTV is the one network that refuses to play music.”

Finally, one of the main themes of the night was masturbation – mostly courtesy of Magic Mike XXL and Fifty Shades Of Grey.

Magic Mike XXL. It really is magic. Anytime I watch those guys, at least two of my fingers disappear. It’s so weird,” Schumer said in her monologue.

Schumer and Amber Rose later appeared in a pre-taped bit about women going to the see Magic Mike XXL and Fifty Shades of Grey, for less than innocent reasons.
