Linsey Godfrey, who stars on the Bold and the Beautiful soap opera, was struck by a car while walking in Los Angeles Monday, resulting in damage to both of her ankles.

Godfrey, 26, was walking on a sidewalk in Los Angeles when two cars got into an accident, one of which veered onto the sidewalk and struck her. Initial reports suggested that Godfrey had broken both of her legs in the accident

“Earlier today around 2:23 pm there was a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Granville and Olympic,” the LAPD told E! News. “One of the vehicles veered off onto the sidewalk hitting a pedestrian. Linsey Godfrey suffered from broken legs. Last update we have is that she was in surgery and expected to recover.”

“There were no arrests made,” the LAPD added. “The accident is under investigation at this point.”

After the LAPD released the statement, which included an assessment of Godfrey’s injuries, the actress’s manager reached out to note that Godrey’s injuries are limited to her ankles and that she’s expected to make a full recovery.

“Linsey is recuperating at the hospital. Her doctors expect a full recovery,” the manager’s statement read. “She will need treatment on her ankles but things are looking good at this point.”

On Bold and the Beautiful, Godrey plays Caroline Spencer, a role for which she earned a daytime Emmy last year. She’s also appeared on One Tree Hill and Surface.
