The first full-length trailer for Jurassic World starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard was released on Tuesday, two days ahead of schedule.

First Jurassic World Trailer

Universal premiered a teaser trailer earlier this week, promising to release the trailer on Thursday, but reports suggest that its release was moved up after a bootleg version leaked online. Director Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) appeared to confirm this report when he took to Twitter to debut the trailer, writing, “Due to circumstances beyond our control, the park will be opening early.”

The trailer introduces viewers to a brand new Jurassic World theme park, where genetically cloned dinosaurs roam freely and put on SeaWorld-like shows for visitors. Unlike in the original Jurassic Park, Jurassic World finds the park already up and running with hundreds of visitors. The trailer finds Owen (Pratt) and scientist Claire (Howard) tasked with saving the visitors and themselves after the first genetically modified hybrid dinosaur escapes. “You just went and made a new dinosaur? Probably not a good idea,” says Owen in the trailer.

The film also stars Jake Johnson, Vincent D’Onofrio and BD Wong, though they aren’t featured in the trailer.
