Black Eyed Peas frontman William Adams Jr., better known as Will.i.am, is more than a hit maker. His I.am clothing imprint has been around since 2001, a few years after he left the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising to form the Black Eyed Peas with bandmates Taboo and apl.de.ap. According to the 36-year-old Renaissance man, the I.am label "embodies a modern futuristic collection that is creative and unique in design." Under the label, Adams designed a collection for Antik Denim in 2007 and collaborated with designer Nana Sananikone in 2009. His current collection, under Manhattan International, features tops, outerwear and accessories – and he wants consumers to "feel good about it." Prices range from as low as $60 for tees, up to $550 for leather jackets. The line also includes structured vests, woven tops with accented seams, and blazers. I.am is available in Puerto Rico, Jordan and Canada. Stateside, items can be purchased at boutiques across the nation, like Alpha-Man in Los Angeles, Adrene Boutique in Atlanta and Pieces in Brooklyn.
