Electro-blues duo The Kills treated fans to a smoldering set of both new tracks and older fan favorites on Monday night at indie rock mainstay Terminal 5 in Manhattan. But the rock twosome’s unique act of prerecorded beats and deafening guitar distortion didn’t just attract a packed house of their biggest fans; some of today’s biggest stars were there looking to channel their inner rock groupies.

During the show’s opening set by indie pop breakouts The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, rock icon Joan Jett was spotted prowling around the venue’s VIP balcony section. Donning her signature black t-shirt and leather pants ensemble complete with her trademark black mullet, Jett appeared to enjoy both the opening and main acts, watching the stage intently from her seat in the balcony. The Kills’ lead singer, Alison Mosshart, even dedicated the classic Kills track “Pull a U” to the rocker declaring, “This is for our friend Joan Jett.” Upon Mosshart’s dedication, Jett appeared to smile from ear to ear and started bobbing her head to the beat. Jett also appeared at the second of two nights that The Kills performed at Terminal 5. The Kills’ guitarist, Jamie Hince, now famous for marrying supermodel Kate Moss, also gave a shout out to his new bride, dedicating the hit single “DNA” to her.

But perhaps the most recognizable stars to attend the show that evening were True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgard and Spider Man actress Kirsten Dunst. Skarsgard appeared in the VIP balcony for The Kills’ set, dressed in a fitted grey t-shirt and skinny jeans. He appeared to be enjoying himself, singing and dancing along to some Kills tunes and chatting up other spectators. Dunst was a little harder to spot, but at times, she came out from behind the crowd to dance with Skarsgard.

Skarsgard and Dunst appeared to be having a great time, chatting and laughing, not to mention dancing together. Their friendly flirtation at the show is just another sighting to fuel romance rumors. After partying at the Cannes Film Festival together earlier this year, Skarsgard and Dunst’s joint appearance at Terminal 5 further leads fans to believe that they’re more than just costars in Lars Von Trier’s upcoming apocalyptic drama Melancholia.

But much to True Blood fans’ glee, it doesn’t seem as though the vampire heartthrob and the former child actress are taking their relationship past the friend zone. Dunst has been dating Rilo Kiley drummer Jason Boesel since 2008. Skarsgard, on the other hand, is currently on the market; he recently broke up with Kate Bosworth, his costar in the upcoming Straw Dogs, whom he dated for two years.
