Kady Z, whose first record One Million Pieces came out in 2012, is back with a new release, Ordinary Girl Undone, an acoustic rendering of songs from her 2013 album, Ordinary Girl. The new EP consists of 5 tracks produced by Tone Def and features a stripped-down sound. While the EP stays true to her sound, the singer loved the acoustic element. “I feel the acoustic album really shows off the songs and the voice,” she told uInterview.

Music has been a steady influence for Kady, whose mother, 80s icon Pia Zadora, is an accomplished performer. “It was really inspiring to see her and watch her perform and to be able to perform with her. Honestly, I feel like it was just apart of who I was growing up,” she told uInterview.

While visiting the uInterview offices, Kady Z performed “Crush Gone Wrong.”
