Looks like the hot-headed Mel Gibson may be realizing the error of his ways. The actor, who was recently dropped from the William Morris Agency due to explosive  audio recordings, is reportedly attempting to win back his ex-wife of 30 years, Robyn.

Gibson has eight children with his ex, though they separated over a year ago when his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva revealed she was pregnant with his child. Gibson split with Grigorieva in April and filed a restraining order against her in June.

Though the tapes have been said to be tampered with by some blogs and forensic experts, the backlash Gibson has received is very real – he and Grigorieva are currently in a custody battle over their daughter Lucia. Robyn gave an official statement to an L.A. judge saying that Mel had never been physically abusive at any point of their relationship, a move he has reportedly interpreted as a second chance for him and Robyn. –ELENA COX
