Penn Badgley Struts On 'Gossip Girl' Set

Penn Badgley's Gossip Girl character, Dan Humphrey recently sent fans into a tizzy when he locked lips with Leighton Meester's character, Blair, on the show.

"It was actually the most fun I'd had on the show in a while. It was something new for my character, and I was having fun with the rapport," Badgley told MTV. "I think my dialogue benefited from it. It was actually a lot of fun to work with Leighton. I hadn't much. We were like the only two who had never really interacted."

Badgley had certainly "interacted" more — on and off the camera — with ex-girlfriend Blake Lively. The couple announced their split last year after a three-year relationship, but both maintained that it was amicable. From all outward appearances on the set, Lively and Badgley seem to be enjoying a friendly working relationship. —KIMBERLY STEELE
