Hayden Panettiere And Boxer Boyfriend Split

Hayden Panettiere, 21, has split from her boyfriend of two years, 35 year-old Ukranian boxing champion Wladmir Klitschko. Nevertheless, both parties says they have respect each other and have decided to remain friends.

“Even though we've decided splitting up is best for both of us, we have an amazing amount of love and respect for each other and remain very close friends,” says the Hoodwinked Too! actress.

"We had a great time together, but it's not that easy to manage a relationship between two continents," said Klitscko."I have a lot of respect for Hayden as a person and as a friend, and I believe we'll keep our friendship even after the separation."

Panettiere and Klitschko met at a book launch party. Panettiere grabbed headlines after her April appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, where she addressed fans’ questions about the other kind physical difference in their relationship: height. At 5”1’, she stands 15 inches shorter than her 6”6’ former flame, which she said made people so curious that even strangers would ask about what it was like getting intimate.

"I get the prudest people coming up to me and they're like, 'Does it work?' Yeah, it works. We find a way," she said. "Where there is a will, there is a way!"
