30 Rock returned to NBC's Thursday night lineup in a new primetime location. The comedy eased into the 8 p.m. time slot, still warm from the recent cancellation of Community (we know), which had held the spot since its 2009 premiere.

The return of 30 Rock picks up with TGS returning from its own holiday break. Something is off with Liz (Tina Fey) — she's actually happy. Her co-workers question the source of her good spirits: Tracy (Tracy Morgan) suggests she might be a crack whore on the side, but it turns out she is dancing her cares away after joining the dance team, Timeless Torches.

Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) is convinced the world will end the following day. Although he is excited to go to heaven, he decides to make the most of his last day on earth by completing all of his dream chores.

Meanwhile, the network and Jenna (Jane Krawowski) have found success with the new series "America's Kidz Got Singing." Jenna makes a name for herself reducing toddlers to tears with comments such as "Go jump back up your mother!" Jenna (Regional Recording Artist) is joined by fellow celebrity judges D'Fawn ("Style" Expert) and John McEnroe (Big Music Fan).

Jack (Alec Bladwin) is still adjusting to single fatherhood and finds himself conflicted between ruthless executive and new dad as he considers changes to the network's new talent show. In the end, the old Jack wins out and the show continues with Jenna's ratings-friendly kid-bashing.

With her newfound happiness still in tact by the end of the episode, could it be the beginning of a new Liz? Find out as 30 Rock continues in its new time at 8 p.m. Thursdays on NBC.
