Meryl Streep, 'The Descendants' Take Top Honors At Golden Globes
The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards, hosted by an uncharacteristically restrained Ricky Gervais, aired Sunday, January 15, awarding top honors to the Alexander Payne dramedy The Descendants and the French silent film The Artist, for Best Drama and Best Comedy. Other big winners of the night included Madonna, Claire Danes, Michelle Williams and Meryl Streep.
