VIDEO: YouTube Sensation Trevor Moran Rushed From ‘The X Factor’ In Ambulance
Simon Cowell's The X Factor, judged by Britney Spears, 30, Demi Lovato, 20, and L.A. Reid, 56, may not have many tricks up its sleeve in its struggling second season, but producers at the U.S. version of the show caught on to the value of ambulance cliffhangers — which they learned last season when American Idol's Symone Black fell off of the stage after reportedly suffering some kind of fainting spell — and now the sirens are blaring on The X Factor for Trevor Moran, 13, the exuberant kid famous for making YouTube videos of himself dancing around an Apple store.
Moran was all ready to take the stage for his big performance when the camera cut to him lying with his head in his mother's lap. Something was clearly wrong. As the sirens sounded, the ambulance approached, and a black screen told viewers that Trevor's fate was "to be continued …."
All we saw of Trevor, who has a lot of heart, an infectious attitude and old-school Justin Bieber hair, prior to his paramedic rescue was him dancing with a fellow contestant to Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" in his X Factor intro.
Tune in to tonight's episode of The X Factor on Fox to find out how Trevor is faring.
