PHOTO: One Direction's Liam Payne Works His Magic

He's not the first otherwise-qualified celebrity to show off with a few magic tricks — just ask Neil Patrick Harris — but young One Direction star Liam Payne still wowed attendees outside the Funky Buddha nightclub in London when he threw out a few card tricks with some fellow magicians.

The newly single Payne, who famously split from girlfriend Danielle Peazer a few weeks ago, did what a lot of brokenhearted souls do after a relationship ends and cut his hair. Not that his adoring fans seem to mind, as Payne, who also recently got over a cold, has "been kissing too many girls," according to his pal, One Direction bandmate Harry Styles.

Rumors have been circulating that one of those girls (perhaps the main one) might be British singer-songwriter Leona Lewis, 27, who has hinted at a relationship between her and Liam, 19, by saying, "Let's just say you never know where things might end up, if they're given half the chance before they've gotten off the ground," reports Now magazine.

Meanwhile, "sensible" Liam was content to distract people with his card tricks on Thursday night, looking casual-dapper in his sports jacket and rolled-up sleeves while hamming it up for the cameras.
