Rihanna & Teyana Taylor Get In Social Media Feud
Rihanna and Teyana Taylor engaged in a Twitter and Instagram war after the “Diamonds” singer mocked Taylor’s singing – through her hairstylist dressed in drag.
Taylor posted a black and white Instagram video of herself singing Anita Baker’s “Caught Up in the Rapture” on Sept. 12. Rihanna, who apparently only recently stumbled upon the recording, decided to knock the fellow singer down a peg. Enlisting her stylist, the R&B diva had him dress up in drag and mimic Taylor in her own Instagram video that was uploaded on Tuesday.
After the very public diss, Taylor took to Twitter to air her grievances, tweeting, "Petty is Petty and shade is shade. B—h knew what the f–k she was doing."
Rihanna subsequently took to Twitter herself, changing her Twitter header to an image of their net worth’s side by side. Taylor followed that up with a new header of her own that featured a mocked up image of two boxers, replacing the attackers face with her own, and the person on the receiving end's face with the picture of a bruised-faced Rihanna. Taylor also wrote (in a tweet that has since been deleted), "Ya net worth & ya body count go neck to neck. #IndustryP—y" Taylor wrote. "90 million dollars & 90 million n—as diving in that b—h box."
Rihanna eventually addressed Taylor’s comments with a number of putdowns relating to Taylor’s’ inferior standing and worth in the industry, only one of which remains – “I hate broke b—hes.”
