Ultimate Warrior's Cause Of Death

An autopsy that was conducted on Ultimate Warrior, born James Brian Hellwig, found that there was no foul play involved in his death, reported TMZ. Furthermore, neither drugs nor alcohol was found in the WWE veteran's system.

On April 8, Warrior, 54, had been exiting his hotel room in Arizona with his wife when he started to clutch at his chest and ultimately lost consciousness. He was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

In the days leading up to his death, Ultimate Warrior had attended WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans, where he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Roughly 24 hours before he suffered his fatal heart attack, he’d made an appearance on Monday Night Raw. His sudden death rocked the world of professional wrestling.

"WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior,” the WWE said in a statement. “We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame and was also able to appear at WrestleMania 30 and Monday Night Raw to address his legions of fans. WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior’s family and fans.”
