Kerry Washington Gave Birth To Daughter Two Weeks Ago

Kerry Washington, the highly secretive Scandal actress, reportedly gave birth to a daughter with her husband Nnamdi Asomugha two weeks ago.

Washington’s daughter, whom she and Asomugha named Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha, was delivered at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on April 21, reported TMZ.

Washington’s pregnancy was announced back in October. “She’s about four months along,” a source told Us Weekly.

"Kerry and Nnamdi are ecstatic," another source close to the pair told People.

While it’s surprising that Washington managed to keep her baby news a secret for a couple of weeks, she’s already proven capable of keeping her private life private. After all, no one even knew she was dating the former San Francisco 49ers cornerback until they were married for a couple of weeks.

"It has been recorded in the Blaine County clerk's office that Nnamdi Asomugha and Kerry Washington have been married on the 24th of June in the town of Hailey, Idaho," a representative for the clerk's office told Us in July 2013. The two had been dating since summer 2012.

Washington has yet to confirm or comment on the birth of her daughter Isabelle.
