Jennifer Lopez stunned in a series of makeup-free Instagram photos on Sunday while lounging poolside with her mother Guadalupe Rodriguez.

J Lo Posts Makeup-Free Selfie

The singer, who is in the process of releasing her eighth studio album AKA, first posted a selfie to the photo-sharing site, declaring Sunday her “one day off.” In the photo, the singer wore big aviator sunglasses, gold hoop earrings and a bikini and appeared fresh-faced, a rarity for celebrities.

She quickly followed up with yet another selfie, this time featuring her mother relaxing by her side.

In her next selfie, Lopez decided to forgo the sunglasses, showing off a makeup-free, natural look.

“No makeup day! #realface #trueselfie #iwokeuplikethis,” Lopez captioned the photo.

Lopez was taking a much-needed day off. On Saturday Lopez performed “Actin’ Like That” at the B96 Summer Bash in Chicago with Iggy Azalea and it was reported last week that the singer had recently broken up with her boyfriend of three years, Casper Smart.

AKA will hit shelves Tuesday, June 17.
