Zoe Saldana & Marco Perego Are Expecting Their First Child – Report

Zoe Saldana is reportedly pregnant with her first child with her husband, artist Marco Perego.

Saldana, 36, had allegedly confirmed her pregnancy to The Hollywood Reporter through a rep, though THR has since removed the story. The star’s rep further stated that their was never any confirmation about the rumors that the Avatar actress and her husband are expecting.

Despite the conflicting reports regarding the confirmation, a source claims that Saldana and Perego are indeed preparing to welcome a baby together. “Zoe is about three months pregnant," the insider told Us Weekly. "But she will only announce the news when she's ready

"Zoe has always wanted a big family," a second source told the publication. "And Marco's on board, too!"

In the past, Saldana has spoken openly about wanting to have children, crediting her Latin background with making her eager to become a mother. "I'm Latin—we start young, honey!" Saldana admitted on erstwhile Lifetime series The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet in 2012. "At 22 you're like, 'I just wanna hold something!' You want a little critter."

Saldana and Perego were married secretly in London in September 2013 after a short courtship and a five-year friendship.
