‘Hornswoggle’ Dylan Postl On ‘Leprechaun: Origins,’ WWE, Pro Wrestling [VIDEO EXCLUSIVE]
Dylan Postl, better known as ‘Hornswoggle’ in the World Wrestling Federation, stars in the new movie Leprechaun: Origins. Postl is learning about the differences between life in the ring and in front of the camera. “It’s a lot less on your body that’s for sure,” he told uInterview at San Diego Comic-Con 2014. “You’re not taking body slams every night, everyday, every night of the week and all year around. “It’s a lot of fun. Both of them are so much fun.”
The Leprechaun films have been a staple in the horror movie industry since the original was released in 1993. But this film is a bit different from its predecessors. “Man, it’s just a very jump-scare movie,” said Postl. “There’s no ‘hokieness’ and ‘gaga’ and limericks like the originals. It’s just straight horror film.”
There's so much difference between WWE and acting. It's a lot less on your body that's for sure. You're not taking body slams every night, everyday, every night of the week and all year around. It's a lot of fun. Both of them are so much fun. I'm living my dream in WWE and this was a good change. It's a nice fun change.
Two-and-a-half hours, twice a day, but it was fully worth it. Seeing the final product for the first time last night, and it was fully worth it.
Man, it's just a very jump-scare movie. There's no 'hokieness' and 'gaga' and limericks like the originals. It's just straight horror film.
You know what, challenging means that you didn't enjoy them, and I enjoyed every one of them. I enjoyed shooting every one of the scenes because they were so much fun to do. There's a scene in a truck, and that's all I can say. And it was so much fun to do.
I don't get stressed, man. I get nervous. If you don't get nervous that means you're too comfortable and you can't do your job the way you should. But I love it. It's not work, work isn't fun. This is fun. It's living my dream.
No, we're all family, we got to take care of each other. Can't worry about that too much. It's gonna happen. Well I'm lucky, I've been lucky enough. I'm healthy.
