Thomas Lennon Video Interview On 'Bad Teacher,' Wearing Cameron Diaz's Panties

Comedian Thomas Lennon, who stars with Cameron Diaz in the comedy Bad Teacher, says that he didn't have any bad teachers like Diaz’s character in the movie, but he did have a somewhat unsettling experience with one. “I didn’t have any bad teachers, per se. I had some really amazing teachers," Lennon told Uinterview exclusively. "I had one vaguely sort of naughty teacher. She was a music teacher around my sophomore year of high school. I’m not gonna say her name because she’s not that much older than me, and I’m still quite sure she’s an active music teacher somewhere. But she would really help us control our diaphragm while we were singing, which means a lot of touching in your middle, or what trainers call your core. It was super-inappropriate and awesome.”

In the movie, Lennon’s character ends up taking questionable photographs of himself, in the vein of a certain shamed politician. “Am I afraid that I’ve been upstaged by Anthony Weiner? I was doing Anthony Weiner stuff before it was cool!" jokes Lennon. "I was sending people pictures of my boner way, way before it was a trend, okay? So, just put that in your Internet and smoke it. Here’s the thing about the Weiner photo… God bless him. I could on for hours and hours and hours about that dude.”

When Lennon agreed to be in the film, he was drawn by the potential sex scene he would have with Diaz, but as it turns out, that prospect merely got his hopes up. “I was pitched the idea of a film in which I’m sort of a villain, and get seduced by Cameron Diaz. As soon as I heard that, I started telling all my friends, ‘Hey, guess what? I have a sex scene with Cameron Diaz! Oh, sorry, you snooze, you lose. Hey, guess what, guess who has a sex scene with Cameron Diaz? Me! Guess who’s gonna be making out, possibly Frenching, maybe touching the boobs of Cameron Diaz? Me!’ That’s completely inaccurate, as it turns out,” he says. “Cameron Diaz’s character sort of drugs me and basically leaves me for dead, and then takes a ton of horrible photographs of me that she then blackmails me with. So I had to take all those blackmail photographs basically with a couple teamsters on a day that Cameron Diaz wasn’t there. So not only did I not have a sex scene with Cameron Diaz, I had to do basically full-frontal nudity with a scary, scary bunch of grips and teamsters hanging around.”

But any day that you’re on a movie set and you get to wear a pair of Cameron Diaz’s panties, that’s a win, you know? That’s just a straight-up win.
