The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, keeps on impressing with her chic maternity style.

Prince William‘s pregnant wife stepped out in a simple black and white number for the Brookhill Children’s Centre in Woolwich in East London. The stylish dress is actually an affordable retail look from ASOS which is unsurprising for the young royal who prefers smart fashion pieces to luxury designer dresses. Kate, 33, also announced her due date after being asked by one of the charity’s volunteers for the expected arrival of her second child, “I’m due mid-April to the end of April” she added, “Not too long now.”

The Duchess has been using this print regularly during her pregnancy which she has worn in the past when she was pregnant with Prince George. Like previous times, the thrifty nature of the dress caused ASOS to sell out of the dress within hours as a cause of the “Kate effect.” The outfit was complimented with suede black pumps, silver jewelry and a simple black clutch.

This smart look is easily achieved by starting with this dress from Macy’s in a bolder geometric print and a pop of pink. This is a wrap dress that flatters many different body types and has more of a relax fit for comfort. The dress also features a tie-belt at the waist to accentuate the smallest part of the body. Pair this classic look with basic pumps and a matching clutch for an elegant and polished outfit.
