Paramount has released the new Super Bowl trailer for World War Z, starring Brad Pitt, although “new” might be a bit of a stretch. The 30-second spot, which will appear during Sunday’s big game, is basically a pared-down version of the trailer released in November, with some very brief new clips.
The first trailer for the zombie apocalypse film World War Z, starring Brad Pitt and adapted from the best-selling book of the same by Max Brooks, has officially been released. The trailer opens with Pitt, as United Nations worker Gerry Lane, sitting in traffic with his wife (Mireille Enos) and kids when they are violently interrupted by a set of explosions and the chaos that ensues.
There may be little that can be done to save Brad Pitt's zombie vehicle, World War Z, from apocalypse. Extensive re-shoots, a last-minute script rewrite and creative issues have already forced the $170 million-plus zombie war movie to a June 2013, instead of a December, release, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
