Where did Disney go wrong with John Carter? By now, that seems like the only question worth asking, given the film's epic budget shortfall on opening weekend. Earning only $30.6 of its $250 million budget domestically, it came in an embarrassing second place to The Lorax.

Burgeoning superstud Taylor Kitsch, 30, was all smiles Wednesday night at the Los Angeles red carpet premiere of his new anticipated flick, John Carter, in which he plays the titular role. The Friday Night Lights hottie may have gotten his fair share of the limelight, but he wasn't the only celeb in attendance at the big celebration.
