Cortese has been on mission to get in better shape and revealed last October to In Touch magazine that when she saw footage of herself on MTV’s Jersey Shore she determined that her "weight was getting out of control, and I knew it was time to do something about it," E! reports.

Looks like spray tan companies are going to have to start scrambling for new advertising space — MTV has announced that it will end its six-season reality show, Jersey Shore, starring Jenni "Wow Wow" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, Deena Nicole Cortese, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and, of course, new mom Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, after its upcoming sixth season.
