Beating out Olympic skater Evan Lysacek, Scherzinger and partner Derek Hough gave a whirlwind and stunning performance to the tune of Proud Mary, earning them a perfect score of 30 from the judges.

  Only three contestants are left standing on Dancing with the Stars after Cincinnati Bengals player Chad Ochocinco was given the boot on Tuesday night. Ochocinco was the only contestant last night without dancing experience — the final three include Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, Olympic skater Evan Lysacek and ESPN reporter Erin Andrews — so his removal was not exactly surprising.

  ABC's Dancing With the Stars dumped TV host Niecy Nash and her partner Louis van Amstel after their Viennese waltz was panned by judges, including Carrie Ann Inaba, pictured, on Tuesday night. “I’ve had such a fantastic time being able to live out my dream,” said Nash, adding to to her partner: “Thank you for molding this lump of clay into something,” After this week's competition Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger is heavily favored, but ESPN sportcaster Erin Andrews seems to be closing in on her.

  American male figure skater Evan Lysacek won the gold medal Thursday night for men’s figure skating at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. He is the first American to win the title since Brian Boitano in 1988.
