Truck and ambulance squad pull up to a bar seeping smoke. When Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Casey (Jesse Spencer) enter they find a locked vault with people yelling inside. They saw down the door to get them out but not without Severide burning his arm.

Mouch tries to come up with any excuse to delay the wedding. Severide tells Mouch to bail on the wedding while Herrmann reassures him from experience that everything will be fine.

Brett is now paranoid after the incident. As they bring victims from scene to the hospital she sees a hooded figure and runs back inside to Borelli (Steven R. McQueen). Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) is angry that Brett waited too long to tell him about the incident.

Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) tracks down her brother of Chicago PD, Antonio, to talk with Brett. He knows a street crew is behind it and shows pictures to Brett. She picks out the stalker out of other men.

Dawson and Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) keep Brett company overnight. With constant police protection, Brett is still worried. She gets a call from an unknown number telling her that the police can’t always be there to protect her.

Casey is trying to attack a construction company for using cheap materials that caused Severide to burn his arm at the bar fire. It won’t be that easy considering the guy who runs the company has a tight relationship with most of the city council.

Otis tries to ask Brett out but it falls through when Borelli interrupts. Otis convinces himself that the relationship won’t go anywhere.

Boden has Dawson substitute some ambulance calls for Brett’s safety. Dawson and Borelli get on scene of a gunshot wound victim to find out that its Brett’s stalker. In his jacket pocket is Brett’s ID. As they try to revive him, they see he has multiple gunshot wounds and it’s too late.

The wedding is on at Molly’s. Trudy has the usual wedding meltdown in the backroom while everyone is waiting for her to walk down the aisle.

As the crew sits around a table, they beg Severide and Kidd to tell their story. Kidd informs the table that Severide was head over heels in love with her when she was at the academy. He came to her house and serenaded her with a rose in his mouth.

Casey mentions marriage to Dawson but she’s not ready. Dawson tells him she’s perfectly happy with where they are in their relationship.
