Zac Efron And Olympian Simone Biles Social Media Flirting During Rio Olympics

Heartthrob actor Zac Efron and US Olympic gymnast Simone Biles have been flirting over Twitter, resulting in friendship, support and social media romance.

Biles, 19, has had a crush on Efron, 28, at least since this past March when she spoke about him with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on her show. “Is it just ’cause he’s gorgeous,” Ellen asked, “is that why you like him?” to which Biles exclaimed she did.

Ellen gifted Biles a leotard covered with Efron’s face, which may have started the celeb interchange.

On Aug. 8, Efron tweeted in awe and support of the gymnast, to which Biles nonchalantly responded in thanks.

During an NBC interview, the teen admitted to having a life-size cardboard cutout of the actor in her bedroom, about which Biles revealed, “sometimes I used to kiss him on the cheek.”

The last tweet between the two came from Efron, who assured Biles that he was cheering on her and her teammates, nicknamed the Final Five.

Biles recently helped the women’s USA gymnastics team win gold in the women’s team all-around final competition. She next competes today in the women’s individual all-around.
