William And Kate's Royal Do-Over Kiss
Prince William and Duchess Catherine Middleton emerged on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to the give the people what they wanted – the first royal kiss.
The couple kissed at 1:25 p.m. with hundreds of thousands of admirers looking on. Many found the kiss underwhelming and began chanting for more. William and Kate accepted the challenge and soon offered up a second longer kiss. Thirty years earlier, Prince Charles and Princess Diana kissed on the same balcony after their wedding for their ill-fated union.
