Warren Buffett, the octogenarian business magnate, recently revealed that his daily diet consists of at least five cans of Coca-Cola.

Warren Buffett’s Coke

“I’m one quarter Coca-Cola,” Warren Buffett told Fortune magazine this week. “If I eat 2700 calories a day, a quarter of that is Coca-Cola. I drink at least five 12-ounce servings. I do it everyday.”

Buffett claims to have coke with breakfast, another one in the morning, another one towards the end of the work day and two more once he’s home from work. He also says he’s a big consumer of Utz potato sticks and ice cream.

“I checked the actuarial tables, and the lowest death rate is among six-year-olds,” the 84-year-old told Fortune. “So I decided to eat like a six-year-old.”

Taking into consideration the amount of sugar Buffett consumes per day in his Coca-Cola habit alone (200 grams), he’s consuming eight times the sugar that The World Health Organization recommends daily.

Incidentally, it’s worth noting that Buffett, who is worth an estimated $72.9 billion, happens to own $16 billion worth of Coke stock.
