Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan, 25, was led out of a Los Angeles Court in handcuffs on Wednesday after violating her probation from the shoplifting case that took place in January.

Judge Stephanie Sautner revoked Lohan's probation, since she was discharged from her community service assignment at the Downtown Women's Center, which provides safe haven for homeless women in Los Angeles. "Ms. Lohan's actions deliberately made it impossible for her to perform her sentence at the Downtown Women's Center," Sautner said, chiding the actress for traveling so much and "just blow[ing] off" the 480 hours of community service that were part of the terms of her probation, reports ABC News.

When Shawn Chapman Holly, Lohan's attorney, argued that her client had completed some of the community service and tried to substitute hours at the American Red Cross for time at the women's shelter, Sautner was appalled. "You're praising her for completing 12 hours in six months when most people could do that in one or two weeks. A year is a generous amount of time and the way I can count, she's got 57 out of those 60 days left to do," the judge said.

Though the city prosecutor recommended a jail sentence, Sautner set a hearing for November 2 to determine whether or not Lohan would face time behind bars due to her lack of service. Until then, Lohan's bail was set at $100,000, and was posted immediately, according to The Huffington Post.
