Van Halen Postpones Tour Dates

Van Halen Postpones Tour Dates

05/19/2012

Van Halen delighted fans across the country when band members David Lee Roth (pictured), Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen, and Wolfgang Van Halen announced their plans for a reunion tour late last year. Now Van Halen, who kicked off their runion tour on February 18, has cancelled or postponed over 30 tour dates that were originally planned for late summer and early fall.

The famously feuding members of Van Halen still have thirteen of their upcoming tour dates planned, but have no information on any of the performances that were originally scheduled to fall between July 7 and September 25, following the last confirmed performance on June 26 in New Orleans.

Among the cities affected by the unclear postponement are Philadelphia, Detroit, Cleveland, Memphis, Cincinnati, Portland, Salt Lake City, Austin and Milwaukee, reports MTV. No explanation was given for the postponement, and it is unclear whether or not refunds will be provided for people who have already purchased tickets.

Previous Van Halen band members Sammy Hagar and Mike Anthony were never scheduled to join the reunion tour.
