Tyra Banks Fires 'America's Next Top Model' Panel
As host of America's Next Top Model for the past 18 seasons, Tyra Banks has gotten used to eliminating young models from her show. On Thursday, Banks turned her eye to her own partners, choosing to ax longtime co-stars J. Alexander, Jay Manuel and Nigel Barker.
"Fierce & love 2 my @NigelBarker, @MrJayManuel & Miss J. #ANTM turned us in2 a family. Excited for what the future holds for us," Banks tweeted, effectively confirming reports by the New York Post that the contracts of Alexander, Manual and Barker had not been renewed for season 19.
"Best of luck with cycle 19, It has been a pleasure working with you the past 8 years. Much love Nigel," Barker responed on Twitter.
