'Twilight' Dominates MTV Awards Nominations

Leave it to lonely women and little girls on the internet to make Twilight the second most nominated movie at the MTV movie awards.

The second film in the blockbuster Twilight series received a whopping five nominations including, Best Movie, Best Female Performance (Kristen Stewart), Best Male Performance (Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner), Best Kiss (Stewart and Pattinson) and new category Global Superstar for which Stewart, Pattinson, and Lautner are all nominated. Only last year's contender The Hangover beats Twilight with six nominations.

Interestingly, Stewart will be facing off against herself in the Best Kiss category since she is also nominated for her kiss with Dakota Fanning in The Runaways. –JOE GALBO
