The Situation Gets A New MTV Reality Show

The Situation, Jersey Shore’s Michael Sorrentino, has a new series in development deal with MTV. The 29-year-old reality star has signed on for an unnamed project, which will most likely be a reality show. Jersey Shore’s Snooki, JWoww and Pauly D are all appearing in their own spin off shows as well.

“I'm excited to continue my relationship with MTV ... Hopefully, there will be plenty more situations in the future,” Sorrentino said. Aside from his new deal with MTV, the Situation has been endorsed by Reebok Zigtech shoes and Devotion Vodka. He also penned an autobiography, made a rap song, a workout DVD, has a vitamin line for GNC, and he even has his own clothing line, making him one of the highest paid reality stars.

The Situation has made various appearances on TV aside from Jersey Shore, including a stint on Season 11 of Dancing with the Stars. In February, Sorrentino expressed interest in graduating from reality TV to the big screen. No word yet on his big screen debut.
