Taylor Swift’s security team was forced to detain a man who showed up outside of the singer’s apartment in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan.

Taylor Swift’s NYC Home

The unidentified man was spotted on the doorstep of Swift’s New York City home Tuesday evening. Swift’s guards found reason to detain the man and to call 911, reported TMZ. Upon arriving at Swift’s home around 6 p.m., NYC police found the man to be “disoriented” and possibly “emotionally disturbed.”

The unidentified man was handcuffed and taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. He had been carrying a duffel bag, which was searched by police.

Fortunately, Swift was not present inside her NYC digs while the incident with the unidentified man was occurring. However, it is unknown if he’s made any threats towards Swift, or if he’s made previous efforts to get inside of her residence.

Back in February, Swift’s Beverly Hills home was approached by an unknown man. When security spotted the man, he claimed that he knew the “Blank Space” singer and that he was there to pitch her some songs. Cops were eventually called to the scene, leading the man to take off from the property. A similar incident happened at another one of Swift’s L.A. homes just weeks before. That time, the unidentified man was cuffed and taken away by police.
