Taylor Lianne Chandler, who claims to have dated Olympic swimming star Michael Phelps, recently contacted him to apologize for revealing the real reason they split up – and to give him a heads up about her Vivid porn flick that recreates their alleged romance.

Chandler’s name first entered the news in November, two months after Phelps was arrested for a DUI. Fearing that tabloids would run a story about her and Phelps’ relationship while also outing her as intersex, Chandler went public on her Facebook page about dating the Olympian and being raised a male as a child. According to Chandler, Phelps had not known she was intersex during their time together – though she doesn’t think the athlete would have been troubled by the revelation.

“He’s never had that conversation with me, and, knowing him as well as I do, I don’t think it would have been an issue,” Chandler told uInterview exclusively. “The reason that I think it is an issue now – he’s a brand. There are a lot of people around him who are going to protect that brand.”

Chandler’s Last Chat With Phelps

Chandler’s intersex identity – since it was previously unknown to Phelps – wasn’t the reason the two broke up, Chandler says, nor is it the reason they haven’t gotten back together. Chandler, who had been vague about the breakup for weeks, admitted on The Howard Stern Show that it was Phelps’ cheating that allegedly ended their relationship. It was largely due to her unexpected reveal about the cheating that led Chandler to reach out to Phelps.

“I apologized to [Michael] two nights ago because I had made him a promise that even though we didn’t work out, and there was a lot of back-and-forth and anger on my part, I had said that I would never betray him and tell the truth of why we weren’t together – and then I did it,” Chandler admitted. “I never really wanted to do anything to hurt him. People break up every day. Just because he’s in the public eye, doesn’t mean that the reasons why we broke up necessarily need to be public.”

‘Going For The Gold’

In her recent communication with Phelps, Chandler also let him know about the X-rated film that she shot with Vivid Entertainment, which will come out later this month. The film, titled Going for the Gold, allegedly offers a play-by-play of Chandler and Phelps’ sexual encounters.

“The Vivid video is different than mainstream porn – if you even want to call it porn – in the fact that it really does duplicate, almost to a T, my sexual relationship with Michael Phelps,” said Chandler. “It literally goes through how it all happened. What transpires on film is what really happened. We kind of go through the gamut of what my sexual exploration was with him.”

Also featured in Going for the Gold – though Chandler says the alleged tryst was a media fabrication – was their infamous rendezvous in a bathroom during the halftime of a Baltimore Ravens game. “Because of the way that the media made a big deal that we had sex during halftime and all that, in the video – hopefully [Vivid founder] Steve Hirsch doesn’t get mad at me for spilling this – we do reenact that we had sex during halftime, so to speak,” Chandler revealed.

Who is the other party in the “we” Chandler is speaking about in the adult film? Porn star Ty Roderick. And, according to Chandler, he makes a doable stand in for her former alleged lover.

“Ty Rodderick is an amazing person. I consider him a friend. I knew him prior to the film happening,” said Chandler, adding, “You know, he resembles Michael – he’s not quite as tall even though we tried to make him taller in the film – from the waist down, they’re pretty comparable.”
