Somewhere around the hour mark of Twilight Saga: Eclipse, as Edward and Bella roll up on Taylor Lautner’s Jacob resting his perfectly chiseled abs against the hood of his pick-up, Edward wearily quips: “Doesn’t he own a shirt?” Yes, he does. A v-neck. And a rather suave ash black jacket, which the young heartthrob models for screaming Brit tweens at the UK premiere of his latest movie, teenage action-adventure, Abduction.

In a project that won out in terms of scheduling over Universal’s proposed big screen incarnation of Stretch Armstrong and Paramount’s Max Steel (yes, they’re both action figures with perfectly chiseled abs). As stated here in our review, given how long most pictures seem to be able to cope without Taylor topless, it’s clear what this man’s niche is.

In fact, given that just last year Lautner was reported by MTV news to be the highest paid teen actor in Hollywood, we’re curious as to just how long this celebrity couple – surely destined for Hollywood royalty – will stay together? Will Taylor Lautner’s perfectly chisled abs ultimately get tired of doing the heavy lifting, so to speak, and file for separation and divorce? Or will they be content to stick it out so long as certain concessions are made – their own agent and a negotiated percentage of the gross?
