Stephanie Seymour was arrested Friday night in Greenwich, Conn., on a DUI charge.

Stephanie Seymour Arrested

Connecticut State Police arrested Seymour after a call came in stating that a black Land Rover – Seymour’s – had backed into a Mercedes at a stop sign near a highway exit ramp, reported CNN. According to the responding officer, there was a “strong odor” of alcohol emanating from the model’s mouth.

“After six or seven requests for her license, registration and insurance, she finally was able to fumble through her purse, as she handed over her Connecticut driver’s license, along with a credit card,” the officer wrote in the report.

When the officer attempted to subject Seymour to field sobriety tests, she was “unsteady on her feet” and “her breath smelled of an alcoholic beverage.” Ultimately, Seymour refused to perform any of the tests and was arrested at the scene.

Seymour was charged with both driving under the influence and unsafe backing. She was released on $500 bond.

Seymour is due to appear in Samford Superior Court Feb. 2.

Neither Seymour nor any of her representatives have commented on the arrest and subsequent charges.
