SPLIT: Demi Moore And Ashton Kutcher To Divorce
It looks as if @MrsKutcher is going to need a new Twitter handle. After six years of marriage and recent reports of alleged infidelity, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher will go their separate ways, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Moore, 49, announced on Thursday that she is filing for divorce from Kutcher, 33. “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton," Moore said in a statement. "As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.”
Despite their 16-year age difference, the pair began dating in 2003 and then wed in 2005. Their relationship seemed solid, until rumors started to spread in September that Kutcher had been unfaithful — rumors that were, ironically, fueled by his and Moore's cryptic tweets that seemed to suggest the couple was coping with a big problem in their marriage.
Kutcher, the first person to famously reach a million Twitter followers, tweeted Thursday about the split: “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK.”

I think we all saw this coming, but I have to hand to Demi for sticking it out as long as she did.
