Seth MacFarlane Tweets Brutally Honest Response To Orlando Shooting
Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy, is known for his harsh statements. When addressing Sunday morning’s massacre at Pulse nightclub in Orlando MacFarlane did not hold back in his tweets.
These shootings are a regular occurrence. You don’t get to be “shocked” anymore unless you take action to stop them. Ban automatic weapons.

He acknowledges that the frequency of similar tragedies make it hard to view anything of the like as a new horror for the country. Referring to the automatic riffle the attacker, Omar Mateen, used to carry out the shooting and the ease of access to similar weapons, MacFarlane ended the tweet with a demand to take action. With a short but potent sentence he urged for change: “Ban automatic weapons.”
MacFarlane also addressed counter arguments, invalidating those that defended the availability of deadly weaponry.
RT @xNathan30x: one person carrying a concealed handgun in that club could have ended that horror. // Often stated, never once happened.

RT @JIMDETHOMAS: @SethMacFarlane should’ve banned planes after 9/11. // A plane’s primary function is not to kill. Get the difference?

MacFarlane followed up with statistical data showing that there is a gun problem specific to the United States — but seemed disappointed by the reactions he received.
Man. Twitter responses to all this on my feed are enough to send the even cheeriest soul into a deep depression.
