Scarlett Johansson Expecting Her First Child [Report]

Scarlett Johansson is pregnant with her first child, according to reports.

Johansson, 29, is engaged to French journalist Romain Dauriac, 31, and has not officially confirmed the pregnancy, but sources confirmed to E! News that the two are expecting their first child together. Johansson is notoriously private, and confirmed her engagement after being photographed wearing a beautiful diamond ring on her ring finger in September at the Venice International Film Festival.

Johansson and Dauriac are based in Paris, Dauriac’s hometown, where he manages a creative advertising agency, and the actress recently opened up about the possibility of children in their future.

“I would like to have my own family, that would be nice. They say it’s never the right time and I am sure that’s true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else. At some point it is something I look forward to. I am fortunate in that I have had a long career – 20 years – that has been very diverse. So, you know, picking a time to plan a family feels like something that I could do and not feel as though I was missing out,” Johansson told the Daily Mail in December 2013.

Johansson was previously married to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds from 2009 to 2011, and Reynolds is now married to Blake Lively. This will be the first child for Johansson, and presumably for Dauriac.
