Rihanna announced her collaboration with Manolo Blahnik for a collection of high-priced shoes on Friday.

Rihanna is showcasing the denim-themed shoe collection in the pages of the April issue of British Vogue. The collection, called Denim Desserts, includes a pair of embellished boots that reach all the way up to the wearer’s waist. Rihanna modeled the boots – called the ‘9 to 5’ – for Vogue, but warns people against wearing them out on a date.

“Depends on what kind of date you are trying to have,” Rihanna joked in her Vogue interview. “Those boots are dangerous! If you’re trying to get back home to your bed, don’t wear them boots! You will get kidnapped in those boots, those boots are trouble.”

According to Rihanna, wearing any of the shoes from her Denim Desserts collection could prove dangerous, as she won’t hold back from chasing after anyone sporting them on the streets.

“The day I see a woman in the street wearing my shoes… I am sorry for that woman because I’m going to literally run after her, shouting, ‘Stop! Selfie! Who are you? Where did you get them?’” Rihanna said. “I’m going to have a moment!”

Blahnik took inspiration from Rihanna’s extensive collection of body art for the design of the Denim Desserts shoes, which feature intricate embroidery and sequins on their denim base.

“This is an incredibly exciting collaboration and I am absolutely thrilled with the results,” Blahnik said. “Working with Rihanna has been amazing and her drive, passion, creativity and style has been reflected in the designs, with fabulous results – I think everyone is going to love what they are about to see.”

The Denim Desserts collection features six designs in total that range in price from $895 to $3,995. They will go on sale exclusively at Manolo Blahnik boutiques in NYC, London and Hong Kong on March 5.
