Rare Princess Diana Photo Shared On Instagram

A rare photo of Princess Diana surfaced on Thursday, July 3, courtesy of Valentino’s longtime partner Giancarlo Giammetti.

Giammetti posted the photo to Instagram as part of Throwback Thursday with the caption, “Summer is here TBT princess Diana on the TMblue 1990 #princessdiana #rosariosaxecoburg.”

The rare, personal snapshot of the Princess was taken on the T.M.Blue One yacht, owned by Valentino, in 1990 and also features Rosario Saxe-Coburg, wife of Prince of Preslav, Bulgaria, in the left hand corner and a boy who many assume is Prince William. Prince William, now a parent himself, would have been six the summer of 1990.
