Radiohead has effectively deleted its presence on the Internet, scrubbing the band’s social media accounts of all postings.

Radiohead Disappears From Social Media

Radiohead has inexplicably removed all content from its social media pages, including all profile and cover photos, leaving the pages completely blank. Frontman Thom Yorke has wiped his Twitter page clean as well without explanation. The odd move is only fueling rumors that the band is getting ready to drop its ninth studio album.

Also adding to the speculation are reports that Radiohead has sent out leaflets to fans with an embossed band logo and a message that reads, “Sing a song of sixpence that goes / Burn the Witch / We know where you live.”

Radiohead last released an album back in 2011, King of Lambs. Prior to the release of that album, Yorke had promoted it by posting up outside of a London record store with an old school newsboy cap affixed to his head to hand out copies of a Radiohead “newspaper.”

For 2007’s In Rainbows, Radiohead became the first band to promote an album by asking fans to pay what they wanted to download it.
