FOX finally confirmed today what people have been guessing all along: Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler will join Randy Jackson at the judges' table for the 10th season of American Idol.

"I wanna bring some rock to this roller coaster," Tyler told the crowd of 3,000 Idol hopefuls auditioning at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., according to the Los Angeles Times. Lopez, pictured above during her introduction, also told the crowd that she was excited "to work with you and watch you grow."  

Lopez and Tyler will replace departing judges Ellen DeGeneres, Simon Cowell and Kara DioGuardi. Idol's 10th season premieres on January 12, 2011.--ISHITA SINGH
