Paris Jackson has grown up a lot since we last saw her at her father, Michael Jackson‘s, funeral in 2009 giving a speech about how much she loved her father.

She’s now 17-years-old defending both herself and her father, and recently candid about her own attendance to AA meetings.

Last Wednesday, Jackson posted on her personal Instagram some personal art of a young girl walking with a floating skeleton.

The comments that came in (which have reached to over 800 now) seem to be mostly positive. But to the negative comments Jackson responded heatedly, “this is f—ing ridiculous. i am expected to literary sit on my a– all day replying to comments people leave me (positive and negative)? i have aa meetings to go to. family obligations. PERSONAL oblications. its so f—ing selfish that i am literally attacked on every f—ing thing i post just because people that i DONT EVEN KNOW arent getting what they want. i don’t know any of you. i appreciate the love and support, but the expectations are f—ing ridiculous. the expectations for my DAD were f—ing ridiculous. he didnt owe you anything, yet he was ripped to shreds DAILY. i will not let that happen to me.”

It is unclear what set off this outburst. This is the first Jackson has acknowledged her attendance of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

Jackson had a few follow up comments to this as well, declaring “I’m just f—ing done with this. way too much extra stress in my life. i’m literally the only person I know that responds to comments in general.” She compared herself to “Justin, kylie, kendall, cody,” saying that “none of them do it.” She even mentioned to her attempted suicide in 2013 writing, “when I was 14 and deleting every every single comment by hand because people were fighting to much and sending to so much hate to the point where i was suicidal?”

The teen suffered serious clinical depression after her father’s death, and also suffered some online bullying. Furthermore, Jackson may be under more stress because back in December reports surfaced that she had split with her long-term boyfriend, Chester Castellaw (just one month after she had changed her name to Castellaw on social media). The report hasn’t been confirmed, but the name has been changed back.

“It’s always been like this,” said Jackson, “Just because I’m now starting to say something about it, I’m a b—-.”
