Owen Wilson, Lake Bell and Pierce Brosnan attended the premiere of No Escape at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in Los Angeles, Calif., Monday night.

‘No Escape’ Premiere

Bell stood out from her male costars at the No Escape premiere in a crimson pencil dress. Wilson, who plays her husband in the film, looked dapper in a pinstripe suit, light blue shirt and navy tie. As for Brosnan, he sported a plaid navy suit and checkered tie to the L.A. event.

Bell, who is married to tattoo artist Scott Campbell, recently welcomed a daughter, which the actress admits has changed her perspective on things – including the idea of bringing two young girls to a foreign country in the early stage of a violent coup, which her character does in No Escape.

“When you have a baby, all of a sudden all the things, because I’m a real, like, list-maker and I’m a careerist and I’ve got a lot of things to do. And then you have a baby and you’re like, ‘Okay all that, everything gets [motions upside down],'” Bell told Access Hollywood. “I think there should be a different word for the love a parent feels for their child. It’s like love, primal intensity, and smell.”

‘When I shot [No Escape], I wasn’t a mom and then now watching it as a mom, I’m very uncomfortable,” Bell added. “It makes me emotional to watch it. What’s unique about this movie is the kids are not like a prop. It’s very much you know them and you feel for them and you understand them.”

In No Escape, Brosnan plays a government operative who tries to help Bell and Wilson’s characters get themselves and their daughters to safety. According to Bell, Brosnan’s enduring star power likely has something to do with being a family man at heart.

“I think the secret to Pierce being really sexy and quintessential movie star guy, he’s a really great husband [to Keely Shaye Smith] and father,” Bell said. “I have seen it firsthand.”

Incidentally, Brosnan was accompanied to the premiere by sons Sean, 31, Dylan, 18, and Paris, 14.

No Escape is slated to hit theaters Aug. 26.
