New 'Bachelorette' Emily Maynard Meets Her 25 Prince Charmings

Another season (season eight, to be exact) of ABC's The Bachelorette premiered on Monday night, and that means Bachelorette and Emily Maynard, 26, fans got to see some of the most awkward and cringe-inspiring first meetings of all time — all in one place, on one night.

Maynard, who was only cast aside by The Bachelor season 15's Brad Womack after the cameras stopped rolling, introduced herself and her daughter Ricki, 6, to the viewers in the beginning of Monday night's premiere. "Hi, my name is Emily," she said. "I'm a single mom, and I cannot believe I'm The Bachelorette. That's wild!"

Maynard talked a little bit about her former relationship history with former fiance, NASCAR driver Ricky Hendricks, Ricki's father, who died in a plane accident in 2004. But being on this show isn't about grieving for Maynard. She made it clear that she doesn't really "want to talk about it anymore," before moving on to say that now she wants "a husband to love me!"

Highlights of the men traveling far and wide to come woo Maynard include Tony, who presented Maynard with a glass slipper and introduced himself by saying, ahem, "The name's Charming, Prince Charming." Chris, a corporate sales director, gave Maynard bobble-head figures of himself and her. Aaron may have introduced himself as a high school biology teacher, but he made it clear to Maynard that he was "here to have chemistry with you." Doug, a single parent himself, introduced himself as "a hugger." And Randy arrived in an old lady's costume, which he then ripped off to reveal the true Randy.

But perhaps Travis topped them all, showing up with an ostrich egg, which he explained represented Maynard and her daughter Ricki. "Throughout this journey, I will take care of this egg like I will take care of you and Ricki," he explained. Good to know.

Maynard sent two fellas packing — Brent, a technology salesman with six children, and Lerone, a real estate agent from L.A.
