‘Mr. Robot’ Season Finale Postponed Due To Similarities To Virginia Shooting
The Mr. Robot finale has been postponed and will now air on Sept. 2. The decision comes in the wake of the murder of two Virginian reporters on-air on Wednesday.
USA Network took to Twitter to explain its decision to postpone the finale of the critically acclaimed season:
The previously filmed season finale of Mr. Robot contains a graphic scene similar in nature to today’s tragic events in Virginia.

USA Network didn’t describe exactly how the scene from the finale is similar to yesterday’s tragic events, where reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward were killed by former station employee Vester L. Flanagan II.
Mr. Robot is a techno-thriller about a mentally unstable computer programmer turned vigilante hacker. It stars Rami Malek and Christian Slater.
