Lori Mae Hernandez performed stand-up comedy for her audition on the 11th season of NBC’s America’s Got Talent.

When judge Howie Mandel asked Hernandez how long she had been doing stand-up, he got an emotional response.

Hernandez informed the audience that she had been doing stand-up for three years and began with the intention of putting a smile on her father’s face after he was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy, a form of facial paralysis.

Hernandez said she passed up a babysitting gig to make it to the audition. She jokes that the only experience she has for babysitting is the fact that she was a baby not to long ago.

Without mentioning his name, Hernandez closes with a comparison that calls out Donald Trump.

“That’s like saying, ‘Hey! You’re sick a lot, you want to be my doctor?’ or ‘Weren’t you the host of a reality show? You want to be president of the United States?”

The 13 year-old’s performance earned laughter and applause from judges Simon Cowell and Mel B and a standing ovation from Mandel and Heidi Klum.
